How do I get started with a Cashably account?
Getting started is easy. Download the Cashably app from the App Store or Google Play and follow the onscreen instructions to create your account.

Cashably is a financial technology platform that helps you build credit through everyday payments. We offer a Cashably Card powered by Mastercard, credit score monitoring, budgeting tools, and a financial marketplace connecting you with trusted lenders and financial service providers.

No, Cashably is a financial technology platform, not a bank. Banking services for the Cashably Card are provided by Cross River Bank, Member FDIC, pursuant to a license from Mastercard International Incorporated. 

Simply creating a Cashably account requires no credit check.  Any questions we ask about your score are used to personalize your “Featured” offers.
However, when you apply for a Cashably Secured Card, we perform a soft credit check to determine eligibility which will not impact your credit score.
Once your account is opened, information about your Card Account may be reported to credit reporting agencies and may appear on your credit reports. This reported information may affect your credit history depending on your account activity.

How do I create a Cashably account?
Download the Cashably app, tap “Get Started,” and follow the on-screen instructions. You will need to provide basic personal information and complete identity verification.
You can update your personal information in Account Settings on the Cashably App.
Each individual may hold only one Cashably account. Opening multiple accounts is not permitted and may result in account suspension.
Go to Account Settings > Change Password.
You can close your Cashably account in the mobile app or by contacting Customer Support.
  • If you forgot your password, you can recover your existing account by resetting the password. 
  • If you previously closed or deleted your Cashably account, the account cannot be reopened, and a new account must be created (subject to eligibility and compliance requirements).

Yes, your deposits are FDIC-insured up to $250,000 through Cross River Bank.
The Cashably Card and its associated accounts are offered by Cross River Bank, which is a member of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC). This means your funds held in the account are protected by the FDIC up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount per depositor, for each account ownership category, in the event of a bank failure.

No. Cashably does not require a hard credit check to begin your application. We perform a soft credit check to determine your eligibility, so your credit score won’t be affected when requesting the Cashably card. However, consumer reports may still be reviewed, and additional inquiries may occur if you proceed with a full application.

Unlike many traditional credit cards, the Cashably Card is focused on helping you build credit. It offers no annual fee*1, a 0% APR*2, no hard credit check to start your application, and uses a refundable security deposit to secure your credit line. With responsible use, eligible payment activity may be reported to the major credit bureaus.

A physical card is available for a one-time fee of $7.99, or you can unlock it with a Cashably+ monthly subscription ($7.99/month), which also includes access to our full suite of premium tools. You can cancel your subscription anytime in the app store.

The Cashably Card offers 0% APR. 0% APR means zero interest. This secured card operates like a debit card where your deposited funds set your credit line and automatically settle your purchases. No, your credit score will not be impacted when you apply!
When you check your eligibility for the Cashably Card, we perform a soft credit check. Soft checks aren’t reported to credit bureaus, which means it will not impact your credit score.
If you’re approved and choose to accept your Cashably Card, a full application review may follow, which may involve other checks to determine eligibility.
